GPC Investment LLP is implementing a project for the construction of an associated petroleum gas processing plant at the Kashagan field in the Makat district of the Atyrau region. The project involves complex processing of associated gas using modern filtration, drying, and low-temperature condensation technologies, ensuring maximum yield of commercial products with minimal emissions.
The Gas Processing Plant (GPP) is being built as part of the National Program for raw gas processing instead of flaring and reinjection. The plant’s capacity will allow for the processing of up to 1 billion cubic meters of raw gas per year from the Kashagan field.
The GPP is located near the NCOC “Bolashak” Onshore Processing Facility, 60 km from Atyrau. The plant will eliminate gas flaring and reinjection, significantly improving the environmental situation in the Atyrau region.
